Maitê is a hands-on freelance creative and manager originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Eclectic and multifaceted, she has led work with tech giants like Google, Meta, Twitter and Pinterest and worked for global brands like Coca Cola, Fanta, Stella Artois, and Propel-Gatorade.
Her work has been featured in major news outlets, and won a handful of awards like One Show and Cannes. She recently received an Emmy nomination.
While she is proud of the awards she has won, she is even prouder to have been involved in projects that help empower girls. She participated in a project that helped provide 10 years of education for 58,000 girls in India and another one in the US for Google that introduced nearly 1 million girls to code.
With more than 15 years of experience, her work has taken her to amazing places like Lisbon, Chicago, New York and LA. In that time, she was part of award-winning production companies like B-reel and renowned agencies like Ogilvy NY, 72andSunny and Mother where she opened the LA office on day 1.
After 6 pm, she divides her time between teaching classes at Art Center School of Design, making pottery, and raising two little humans named Mel and Tom.
